Kay and Edward Eicher were involved with the successful struggle to keep New York State from locating it low-level radioactive waste (LLRW) dump in Allegany County. They were steering members of the Allegany County Nonviolence Action Group (ACNAG) and helped run the Caneadea (N.Y.) Concerned Citizens organization.
